Travel grants for students

The Centre for European Studies annually grants smaller travel stipends to students who need to undertake field studies in connection to their thesis work (bachelor or masters thesis). The essay must clearly be Europe-related.

Students at Lund University who are planning to write their bachelor or masters thesis may apply for the travel grants. The funding normally covers for example travel costs and/or a few days stay.

Applications with well motivated reasons for travel and well thought out research designs will be prioritised.

Information about the travel stipends are sent out through our mailing list, which you can subscribe to here. Information is also posted here, on our website.

NOTE

The university is unable to support travel during the spring semester of 2021 due to Covid-19. No call for travel grants will be announced during spring. If the situation allows for it, a call might be announced during autumn term 2021.
