Baltic Borderlands. Dynamics of Boundaries of Mind and Culture in the Baltic Sea Region and its Hinterlands

The Centre for European Studies since 2009 together with the Universities of Greifswald and Tartu co-coordinates the Interdisciplinary Research Training Group Baltic Borderlands: Dynamics of Boundaries of Mind and Culture in the Baltic Sea Region and its Hinterlands. Baltic Borderlands is coordinated in Greifswald and mainly financed fpr the period 2014-2017 by the German Research Council, with co-financing from Lund University and Tartu University. The research theme for 2014-2017 is ”Bordering, De- and Re-Bordering and the Construction of Borderlands in the Baltic Sea Region”.
